The Mexican Spitfire of Burlesque, Ruby Champagne is an award winning burlesque performer, dancer and pin-up model whose accolades include Miss Viva Las Vegas in 2010, Best Soloist at A-BurlyQ in 2012, Queen of Burlesque at the San Antonio Burlesque Festival in 2014 and most recently crowned as Miss Tiki Oasis in 2018. On this episode we chat with Ruby at her local tiki bar, The Bamboo Club in Long Beach, California. Hear how she got her start in burlesque, how it's changed over her 13 year career and who we think would best portray her if a movie were to be made about her life!
